Career Summary
A brief summary of my career.
Anark
I started working at Anark after completing our move to Boulder, Colorado. Anark develops 3D applications for the Entertainment and Enterprise markets. I was hired as Director of Business Development and focused my energies on finding new customers and markets for Gameface, a UI development tool for game developers creating titles for the PlayStation 3, Xbox, Xbox360, PC, and Wii platforms. Recently I was hired by the Enterprise division as the Senior Product Marketing manager for Anark Core, an innovative CAD file transformation solution.
Kadium
I am currently employed by Kadium, an innovative interactive web and application developer located in San Francisco. Kadium was founded by 3 individuals from creative and advertising agencies and has been producing cutting-edge online marketing and consumer oriented web applications for a number of distinguished clients. Kadium's recent work for Major League Baseball was awarded Best Banner Advertisement by ad:tech.
Paul Perreault Construction
After leaving Discreet I opted to start a project management and web development consulting business that I named Paul Perreault Construction. You can read more about Paul Perreault Construction here. Running my own small business gave me a unique opportunity to "spread my wings" and put the processes and practices I value into action. Over the course of two years I grew my business from zero to over 20 happy clients and completed all contracts on-time and above expectations.
I continue to consult on a part-time basis for a number of previous customers.
Autodesk/Discreet
From 1996 to 2004 I was employed by Discreet, a division of Autodesk, Inc. -- the sixth largest software developer in the world. Discreet is an award winning developer of high-performance software and integrated hardware and software systems serving the film, video, broadcast, games and design visualization markets. Discreet was awarded an Oscar for Scientific and Technical Achievement in 1998.
While at Discreet I served in a number of key roles, most recently as Product and Market Manager where I was responsible for Discreet's games market strategy and games specific features within 3ds max. I am proud to have contributed to 3 award winning releases of 3ds max.
In a prior role I was the Product Manager for an innovative games modification product called gmax. In 2001 gmax received an Innovation Award from Computer Graphics World. To date, there are more than 740,000 registered users of gmax.
I have extensive experience managing developer and customer relationships, and was responsible for designing and implementing a developer relations program for Discreet's software and systems technology platforms.
